Rep. Paul Ryan will be the Republican's running mate, a dramatic move that will reshape a tepid campaign as a sharp clash of ideologies and mark the rise of a new, conservative Republican generation.
A Romney advisor and a senior Republican official confirmed the choice to BuzzFeed early Saturday morning; the announcement is planned Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia.
