looking at my left hand
looking at my left hand

Had a funny pain in my hand this morning, which got me looking at it in some detail. I’ve always liked my hands – they have always been important to me, the focus of most things I do. Always creative, my hands have come up with all manner of solutions and product. I feel they have their own instincts, their own will, their own direction. My wife is forever bringing me things to manipulate with these hands ("you have those wonderful fingers!") when she needs help with her own creating.
My palm is smooth, and there are few lines, but they are deeply creased – in palmistry, this is the sign of a creative person who focuses energy well into that creativity.
Of course, these are the only hands I know as well as I do. They are so much a part of me, part of my conscious and even unconscious life.

Great shot! You should post this (and a shot or scan of the other palm, as well) to the Palms group:

Hands speak, I like this one! and yes, they are part of us,
I found that in me, it’s the hand (and it is more wrinkled than any other part so far) that tells the story that the rest hides for the moment.
And thanks for the lengthy comments on my photos in Sicily!
from tomorrow a month on birds in the !afterclass! group but today is the day you could add this to the thread HANDS in mid size, thanks!
